Legal & Sources
Who runs this site, what it is not, how it uses third-party material, and every source it cites.
WARDOGS Wiki is an independent, fan-operated reference site about the tactical FPS WARDOGS. This page states its legal position and lists the sources behind its content. It is the shortest page on the site and deliberately the most literal one: nothing here is marketing copy.
1. Unofficial Status
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BULKHEAD or Team17. It has no relationship with the developer or the publisher, no access to internal builds, and no authority to speak for either company.
WARDOGS is a trademark of BULKHEAD. The game, its assets, its name, and all intellectual property in them belong to BULKHEAD and Team17 and their respective rights holders. Nothing on this site should be read as official product information, a patch note, or a statement of release plans.
Where this site describes something as "confirmed", it means the claim appears in first-party material listed in the register below — not that BULKHEAD or Team17 has reviewed or approved this page.
2. Rights Notice
This site reproduces no game assets. What it uses is limited to:
| Material used | Form on this site | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Product name "WARDOGS" | Text, for identification | Nominative reference — naming the subject the site is about |
| In-game names (weapons, vehicles, factions, maps, modes) | Text only | Identification and commentary |
| Numerical game data (stats, prices, dates, system requirements) | Text and tables, with the source cited | Factual reference; facts are not themselves copyrightable expression |
| Third-party article URLs | Outbound hyperlinks, no embedding or framing | Attribution |
| Binary assets | One site favicon, one muted 4-second hero background loop (mp4/webm of official BULKHEAD/Team17 gameplay footage from the WARDOGS Steam store page video, plus its poster frame as a jpeg), and eight official press kit screenshots (1920×1080 jpeg, sourced from the public WARDOGS Steam store page, credited to BULKHEAD and Team17) | Browser tab icon, full-bleed auto-playing home-page hero background, and editorial category-page banners on the home page and seven wiki category index pages; screenshots are cropped and resized to 800×450, all for non-commercial editorial reference with attribution |
The site hosts no ripped game assets: there is no artwork, no models, no audio content of its own, and no third-party widgets — no iframes and no embedded video players. The only third-party media is one muted hero background loop of official BULKHEAD/Team17 gameplay footage (2.3 MB, self-hosted) and the eight official press kit screenshots listed above, used under standard press / editorial reference with attribution to BULKHEAD and Team17. Every other citation is a plain outbound link that sends traffic to the original publisher.
All written content on this site is original prose composed by its operators. It is not copied from BULKHEAD, Team17, or any of the third-party outlets listed below.
3. Accuracy, and What This Site Will Not Do
WARDOGS is in active development and its published details change. Everything here reflects first-party material and reputable coverage available at the time of writing; it will eventually be wrong about something.
Rather than fill gaps with plausible numbers, this site marks missing data as "Unrecorded". Weapon prices, damage values, magazine sizes, recoil figures, and weights that have not been published are labelled as such instead of being estimated. Where a page ranks or recommends something, it says so and names the basis — community beta impression, recorded statistic, or both.
This site does not sell anything, does not run advertisements, does not host affiliate links, and does not collect accounts or payments. It has no relationship with any retailer, and price figures are reported from the cited source rather than from a commercial integration.
4. Corrections and Takedown Requests
If you are a rights holder, a journalist, or a player and something here is wrong, infringing, or attributed to you incorrectly, ask for it to be changed and it will be. Requests are handled in this order of priority:
| Request type | What to include | Usual outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Rights-holder removal or edit | The page URL, the specific passage, and how you are connected to the rights holder | Removed or rewritten; no argument |
| Factual correction | The page URL and a first-party source for the corrected figure | Corrected and the source added to the register |
| Misattributed citation | The page URL and the correct attribution | Attribution fixed or the citation withdrawn |
| Outdated Early Access data | The page URL and what changed | Updated, or the figure re-marked as Unrecorded |
Send requests using the contact details in section 6. A takedown request does not need a lawyer, a formal notice, or a specific legal citation to be actioned.

This site does not publish a public email address. The fastest route is the official WARDOGS Discord, where the operators of this wiki can be reached directly.
Please identify the company you act for and the page or pages in question. Requests from rights holders are actioned before any other kind of mail.
