About This Site

An independent WARDOGS reference built on one rule: every figure traces back to something published, and anything not published is labelled as missing.

This is an unofficial, fan-operated wiki for WARDOGS, the 100-player tactical FPS from BULKHEAD and Team17. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company — the full statement is on the legal page.

It exists because the game publishes a great deal of hard data across a scattered set of places: a Steam store page, a publisher press hub, developer videos, a beta that players measured, and coverage from a dozen outlets. None of that is collected in one spot. This site collects it, says where each piece came from, and refuses to fill in what nobody has published yet.

1. The One Rule

Every factual claim on this site traces to a source listed in the source register — currently 36 destinations. Pages carry their own "Sources & References" section naming the subset they actually used.

When a figure has not been published, the site writes "Unrecorded". It does not estimate, extrapolate, round from a similar weapon, or borrow a number from a different game. Six of the eight confirmed assault rifles have no published price; those six cells say Unrecorded. That is less useful than a number would be, and more useful than a wrong one.

Interpretation is allowed, but it is labelled. A tier ranking, a "best weapon" verdict, or a recommended setting is opinion built on the recorded data, and the page says so and names its basis rather than presenting it as a fact from the developer.

2. What Is Here

The database is 42 field reports across seven categories, plus 37 indexed guide and reference pages, all searchable from one search page.

Alongside the database there are beginner and economy guides, weapon and settings recommendations, platform and release-status pages, and a set of head-to-head comparisons that give a verdict per matchup instead of a single ordered list.

3. How a Page Gets Built

Sourced material is separated from presentation. Game data — weapon statistics, vehicle lists, faction attributes, mode rules — lives in a data layer, and pages render it. A correction to a muzzle velocity is made once, in the data, and every page that cites it updates together. That is also why the site can state its own gaps precisely: the missing fields are visibly missing from the data, not quietly absent from a paragraph.

The site is statically generated. Every page is pre-rendered, there is no database behind it, no account system, and no server-side session — which is also why it can honestly claim in its privacy policy that it collects nothing about you.

4. What This Site Is Not

  • Not official. It has no access to internal builds and no authority to speak for BULKHEAD or Team17.
  • Not a patch-note mirror. Changes arrive when coverage or first-party material is published, not before.
  • Not a store. It sells nothing, runs no advertising, and carries no affiliate links.
  • Not a substitute for first-party sources when money is involved. Verify prices and editions on the Steam store page before buying.

5. Corrections

Errors are expected on a wiki covering a game still in development, and they are worth reporting. Send the page URL and, where you have one, a first-party source for the corrected figure. Rights-holder requests are actioned ahead of everything else.

This site does not publish a public email address. The fastest route is the official WARDOGS Discord, where the operators of this wiki can be reached directly.
